Yoga Outreach Columbus: Sunday, February 22 at 10:00AM on the Ohio Wesleyan University campus in Delaware, Ohio: I'm happy to once again be a sponsor of this annual yoga gathering that benefits local and international charities. Come early and listen to music, participate in a mulit-level yoga class that will be led by six Columbus-area teachers, and stay for a light lunch that I am planning and the excellent campus food service will prepare. Coming to Franklin Park Conservatory in the Spring: Monday, April 20- Meatless Monday. Join me for this special class as we get ready to celebrate Earth Day. I'll be featuring plant-strong dishes with sustainable, Earth-friendly ingredients that are good for your health and our planet. Wednesday, May 13- Celebrate National Salad Month where I will show you how to create delicious, hearty lunch and dinner salads that are sure to please any appetite. Yoga Mat to Placemat: Move Well, Eat Well, Be Well:
The Duchess and I are excited to offer this special workshop to help you feel terrific all year long through movement and healthy eating. Start off with a great two-hour Fascia Release and Alignment class with registered yoga teacher Loretta Zedella (aka The Duchess of Fork), as we use foam rollers, small therapy balls, bolsters,and yoga postures to release tension from the body, revealing ease of body and peace of mind.  Then, learn how a healthy, plant-based diet is a wonderful complement to your yoga practice or any exercise routine with Chef Mark and a two-hour cooking demonstration and sampling! If you are curious about how to get started with a healthier diet or looking to expand your kitchen skills and repertoire, this class is for you!
