Yoga Mat to Placemat: Move Well, Eat Well, Be Well: The Duchess and I are excited to offer this special workshop to help you feel great all year long through movement and healthy eating. Start off with a great two-hour Fascia Release and Alignment class with registered yoga teacher Loretta Zedella, as we use foam rollers, small therapy balls, bolsters,and yoga postures to release tension from the body, revealing ease of body and peace of mind.  Then, learn how a healthy, plant-based diet is a wonderful complement to your yoga practice or any exercise routine with Chef Mark and a two-hour cooking demonstration and sampling! If you are curious about how to get started with a healthier diet or looking to expand your kitchen skills and repertoire, this class is for you! Cost is only $65 for the yoga class and cooking demo together, or $35 if you join us for just the yoga class or cooking demonstration. Sunday, April 27: ColumbusSOUP at COSI: 
Have you heard about ColumbusSOUP? They are doing fantastic work in helping to provide funding for innovative projects that educate, build community, and/or directly empower individuals or communities toward creating a better quality of life. I am thrilled to be invited to participate as a soup maker at this event to be held in one of Central Ohio's most fun locations, the Center of Science and Industry (COSI). Event starts at 5:30PM and advanced registration is required through the ColumbusSOUP web site. These events fill up very quickly- hope to see you there!

Tuesday, May 6: Columbus Soup and Bread at Two Caterers in German Village:
I will make a return visit with my friends at No Chefs Allowed for the Grand Finale of the second season of this monthly event benefiting the Mid-Ohio Foodbank. This month is extra special as they are teaming up with Pistacia Vera which will be bringing along some of their incredible Macarons to enjoy! If you have tried them you know how delicious they are, and if not be prepared for a real treat. Come out to sample a few soups, enjoy some delicious freshly baked bread, have a bit of dessert, and help to support the hungry in Central Ohio. Tuesday, June 17: Gluten-Free Whole Grains at the Franklin Park Conservatory and Botanical Gardens. Learn how to use gluten-free grains like quinoa, rice, amaranth, and millet and get more flavor in dishes such as salad, veggie burgers and pilafs. Demonstration and tasting starting from 6:00PM to 8:00PM. Cost is $35 per person, or $30 for conservatory members, and you can register online by clicking here.
