The documentary film PlantPure Nation tells the story of three people on a quest to spread the message of one of the most important health breakthroughs of all time. This movie has fostered a grass-roots movement of "pods" across the country and around the world. A Pod is a network of independent groups in a town, city or region, working together to spread the message of plantbased nutrition. These groups help to educate people on the connections of a plantbased lifestyle to our health, the environment, farming, animal welfare, and food and health inequities, while creating resources and community that help people who have decided to live plant-based. The intent of PlantPure in building these Pods is not to compete with existing organizations but to join with them, enabling people and organizations that have worked separately in the past to come together into a more unified force to make change in local communities.
